Tapioca is the childhood memory of every child in Taiwan. In the immigration tide of 1990, thousands of Taiwanese went abroad and started their new lives. Although there are numerous kinds of foreign cuisine, nothing can compete with hometown flavor.
In 1996, a young man decided to bring their hometown flavor to Toronto because of homesick. Thomas Lin, established Teashop 168 Bubble Tea Shop and brought authentic Taiwanese flavor overseas. His perseverance and passion made Teashop 168 a hit in Toronto; Chain stores are open one after one. However, powerful armies also need backing support.
